Chillingham Road Primary School, Heaton

A School Street will launch at Chillingham Road Primary School on 16 January 2023.

On school days, the streets outside Chillingham Road Primary School will be closed to traffic in the mornings when pupils arrive and on afternoons when they go home.

The closures will be in place from 8am until 9.30am and again from 2.30pm until 4pm.

Using Experimental Traffic Regulation Orders (ETROs), we are making changes to roads around Chillingham Road Primary School, with the public consultation running for the first six months.  The roads affected include Ninth Avenue, Tenth Avenue and their back lanes.

Public consultation starts from 16 January 2023 until 16 July 2023.
